Some projects need a bigger table

Leadership is bought in. Deadline is getting close. And this one needs to count. That right there, that's my jam. I'm usually brought in when a company has something new to say or show, and a fresh outside perspective is much needed. When I look back at our most impactful work, it was in those moments of change.
Brand work for companies at Series B, pre-IPO, and beyond
this is where
we come in
the business moved.
the story stayed.
big moment coming.
old signals showing.
good work.
unclear throughline.
one company.
too many versions.

Once upon a time, I was a photojournalist. In some ways, my work hasn’t changed much since. I’m still obsessed with finding interesting stories about interesting people.

For over fifteen years, I’ve worked on both sides of the table: in-house at Amazon Music, Lyft, Picsart, and Intel, and alongside dozens of tech companies as a creative and strategic partner.

Along the way, I’ve met some wonderful people I still collaborate with. That’s one of my favorite things about Dawn. I get to build a team around each project with people I admire. Or ride solo when that’s what the work needs.

The work has traveled far, from startups to global brands, and from award shows to film festivals. I try not to overthink that part.

how it tends to go

01

get close

You already know something's off. We help you name it. The gap between what your company has become and how the market sees it isn't always obvious from the inside. That's where we start.
02

find the good bit

We find the honest, human thing underneath the company. Not just what makes you different, what makes you matter. Sharp enough to rally a team. Simple enough to survive contact with the real world.
03

make it unmistakable

Then the work. Brand, messaging, campaigns, launches, whatever the moment calls for. Built so your team can carry it forward, not just admire it.

good work thrives in good company

Dawn stays small on purpose. I lead every project and call in people I know and admire when it needs more hands or a different kind of brain. The team is built around the job.
